ARTERIES OF THE PANCREAS
The pancreas is an important organ in the human digestive system, performing both exocrine and endocrine functions. The blood supply to the pancreas is provided by a system of arteries that deliver oxygen and nutrients necessary for its normal functioning. This article discusses the main arteries supplying the pancreas, their anatomical location and relationship with other vessels. Pathological conditions associated with impaired blood supply to the pancreas are also discussed.
