Non-Invasive Hormone Therapies and Alternative Interventions for Menopausal Symptom Management: A Systematic Review
This systematic review explores non-invasive hormone therapies and alternative interventions for managing menopausal and perimenopausal symptoms. Utilizing the Synthory.AI service for automated synthesis, 51 studies from 2018 to 2025 were analyzed. Key findings include the efficacy of non-hormonal neurokinin receptor antagonists, such as Fezolinetant, in reducing vasomotor symptoms and improving quality of life. Comparative analyses highlight the variability in outcomes across non-invasive therapies, underscoring the need for standardized protocols. Regional disparities in prescribing practices and concerns over risks like hypertension with hormonal therapies were also noted. Future research should focus on diverse cohorts and longer-term outcomes to optimize treatment strategies for menopausal women.
