Maturity level of software systems to comply with the General Data Protection Law
The General Data Protection Law (LGPD) establishes guidelines for processing personal data with a strong emphasis on ethical considerations. Compliance with the LGPD is mandatory in software systems and non-compliance brings significant consequences. Accurately interpreting the text of the law for system specifications is a challenging task to be carried out from scratch, and the lack of knowledge in LGPD makes it challenging to achieve symmetry that enables business continuity. Our research addresses aspects of developing software systems in compliance with the LGPD, aiming to provide a valuable resource for professionals and researchers in the area and expand the body of knowledge with less legal content in Brazilian law, which is recent.
