Advancing Global Food Security through Sustainable Conservation Technologies - An Integrative Review
Abstract Food security, defined as consistent access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food, remains a global challenge amid population growth, climate change, and resource depletion. Conservation technologies offer transformative solutions by enhancing agricultural productivity, reducing post-harvest losses, and promoting sustainable resource use. Conservation technologies, including precision agriculture, post-harvest storage innovations, and sustainable practices, play a critical role in addressing these challenges. This global challenge is exacerbated by population growth, climate change, and resource degradation. Conservation technologies offer innovative solutions to enhance agricultural productivity while preserving ecosystems. This review synthesizes current research on the intersection of food security and conservation technologies, emphasizing sustainable practices, technological advancements, and policy frameworks. Also analyzes current advancements in food security and conservation technologies. It explores technological interventions, their impacts, and future directions, emphasizing the integration of digital tools, biotechnology, and policy frameworks to enhance global food systems.
