THE EFFECT OF MOBILE BANKING ON FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF BANKING INSTITUTIONS.
In recent years, banks have created modern goods and provided a variety of services to improve efficiency, which is their primary goal. According to, (Olweny & Mamba, 2011) mobile banking is the practice of using electronic portable devices like mobile phones and PDAs to access banking services and facilities. This study employs the increasingly common term "mobile money" to refer to the fusion of mobile phones and financial services, even though numerous, and at times playing, labels and concepts have been used when analyzing the distribution of monetary services through mobile phone networks. (Kigen, 2011) believes that to conduct financial activities related to a client account, mobile banking necessitates the use of a phone or other portable device. (Kingoo, 2018) defines mobile banking as the provision and use of financial and banking services via a mobile communication device. Balance checks, account activities, payments, credit applications, and other banking services can all be performed using a mobile device, which includes a cell phone (which is most popular in developing nations) or a personal digital assistant (PDA) (Sharif, 2019).
