TACTICS OF DETAINING SUSPECTS IN THE INVESTIGATION OF CRIMES AGAINST PUBLIC ORDER

The article analyzes opinions and judgments expressed by scholars on the detention of individuals, and the author engages in scientific discussion with the scholars' views on this matter. It is substantiated that detention is a measure of procedural coercion. Since detention is not only a means of limiting a person's criminal activity but also a means of obtaining important evidence relevant to the case from the suspect, proposals and recommendations have been developed for its implementation. It is justified that detention should be carried out in the process of investigating hooliganism, taking into account the specifics of detaining the suspect.
