Soil organic carbon determination (SOC)
The methodology is used to determine the soil organic carbon content and hence evaluate the quality of soils. Soil organic carbon (SOC) refers only to the carbon component of organic compounds. It is important due to the major role that it plays in soil productivity and in climate change mitigation. This procedures is carried using NIRS methodology.
