Smart cities are the use of modern information technology and innovative technology to view a city as an organic entity, effectively integrating and linking various functional areas of traditional cities. By optimizing urban management and services, it improves the operational efficiency of the city and enhances the quality of life for its citizens. Therefore, starting from practice, we will analyze the planning and construction of communication infrastructure from the perspective of smart city development, explore its construction principles and planning directions, and provide some thoughts for the construction of smart cities.
