Adsorption study of ferrites and graphene oxide nanocomposites for wastewater treatment-Review
Abstract: Water pollution is a pressing global issue, and synthetic organic contaminants threaten aquatic ecosystems. Ferrite nanoparticles (F) and graphene oxide (GO) have emerged as promising materials for water treatment. In this review, we explore their synthesis, characterization, and applications in wastewater treatment of F-GO nanocomposites. Aspects of adsorption study with kinetics, adoption model, thermodynamic aspects are summarized. These nanocomposites, easily isolated using external magnetic fields, offer efficient contaminant removal. Understanding their potential informs effective strategies for combating water pollution through adsorption processes.
