TEACHING INFORMATICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN VOCATIONAL EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

This study explores the integration of Informatics and Information Technologies (IT) into vocational education institutions, highlighting their essential role in preparing students for the digital workforce. As industries increasingly rely on digital tools and systems, vocational education must evolve to meet these new demands. The research identifies key challenges, such as outdated curricula, lack of modern equipment, and limited professional development for instructors. Through interviews with educators and analysis of teaching practices, the paper presents insights into how IT education is currently delivered in vocational settings. The study also examines successful practices in institutions that collaborate with local IT companies, offering practical training and internship opportunities. The findings suggest that updating educational content, investing in infrastructure, and enhancing teacher qualifications are crucial for improving IT instruction. By adopting modern pedagogical approaches and fostering partnerships with industry, vocational institutions can ensure that their graduates possess the necessary digital competencies to thrive in a technology-driven economy.
