HIGH RATES OF DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL INNOVATION IN INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES
This article presents an analysis of the processes and methods of gas cleaning at industrial enterprises, which is carried out within the framework of the master's thesis ‘Improving the efficiency of the gas cleaning process at industrial enterprises in the region’. Due to the fact that the problem of gas purification in industrial enterprises is a big problem, there are many methods of gas purification. These methods are used individually or in combination. Modern developments in the field of gas purification are aimed at improving the efficiency of existing methods and introducing innovative technologies. Membrane technologies and nanotechnologies have a special place among them. The use of automated systems for monitoring and control of purification plants allows to increase their efficiency. The introduction of modern absorbents and catalysts, as well as the use of innovative technologies such as catalytic reduction or biological treatment, can significantly reduce emissions and improve air quality. Aksu Ferroalloy Plant (AFP) of JSC ‘TNC “Kazchrome”, a member of the ENRC Corporation on a permanent basis continues to implement significant environmental protection measures, carries out measures to reconstruct gas cleaning from the furnace umbrella, which allows to annually significantly reduce emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere, reducing the load on the residential area of the city of Aksu. Aerosols can be cleaned in different types of apparatus. One such apparatus is the electrocyclone, a combined dust collector that combines centrifugal and electrostatic effects to clean aerosols. There are unreasonably few studies of electrocyclones. A comprehensive study of this type of gas cleaning apparatus could lead to the introduction of a new type of highly efficient gas cleaning devices in industry.
