Proposal: Copper Tailings Valorization through Multi-metal Composite and Eco-recycling Approach

The increasing demand for copper has resulted in large volumes of copper tailings, whichpose long-term environmental risks. Traditional tailing management methods areinsufficient in terms of ecological safety and resource recovery. This proposal presents aninnovative strategy to transform copper tailings into valuable, functional materials throughcomposite metal oxide blending and high-temperature sintering.

Abstract

The increasing demand for copper has resulted in large volumes of copper tailings, whichpose long-term environmental risks. Traditional tailing management methods areinsufficient in terms of ecological safety and resource recovery. This proposal presents aninnovative strategy to transform copper tailings into valuable, functional materials throughcomposite metal oxide blending and high-temperature sintering.
