Blockchain Sentinel: Safeguarding Supply Chains against Counterfeit Products

With globalization and technological advancement, the global production volume has surged, alongside an alarming increase in counterfeit goods across various industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, and luxury items. To address this challenge, manufacturers and distributors are increasingly emphasizing transparency in their supply chain operations to combat counterfeiting. This paper presents a decentralized application system (DApp) leveraging Blockchain technology to tackle the issue of counterfeit products in supply chains. With Blockchain's inherent immutability and security, the proposed system facilitates the transparent transfer of product ownership. Each product is associated with a Quick Response (QR) code generated by the DApp, allowing consumers to verify distribution and ownership information by scanning the code, thereby enhancing trust and accountability in the supply chain ecosystem.
