EXPLORING MULTICULTURAL THEMES IN INDIAN ENGLISH WRITING
Indian English Literature is an ultimate source of linguistic, cultural, and historical influences that reflect the Multicultural beauty of India. This literary tradition with strong colonial roots and rich postcolonial heritage, is closely linked with the various concepts of identity, hybridity, and cultural plurality. The main objective of a current research paper is to highlight and investigate the function of Multiculturalism in Indian writing in English through historical, postcolonial, and diasporic lenses. The study also explores different ways in which gender, caste, and region became the epic centre of ideological differences and the expansion of new vistas of literary growth in Indian writing in English. The study also ignites young brains to make real-time observations that the development of Indian writing in English Literature engages in a critical discourse on the study of identity, belongingness, survival, existence, and power that reflects the nation’s pluralistic society through the Multicultural framework.
