Ecophysiological aspect of the content of photosynthetic pigments in the leaves of Tilia cordata Mill. in technogenic environment
The paper presents long-term results on the ecophysiological aspect of the content of chlorophyll a and b, carotenoids in the leaves of Tilia cordata Mill. The object of study is located in areas with varying degrees of air pollutant intensity. In the plantations of sanitary and main plantings, the content of chlorophyll a in the leaves of the studied plants in June is higher, and in July and August it is lower than in the control. At the same time, in these plantings, plants have a higher content of chlorophyll b and carotenoids, which indicates the formation of a specific adaptive response, which is manifested in the restructuring of the pigment complex.
