ASSESSING THE ECONOMIC RISKS OF A TRADE WAR ON THE EXAMPLE OF SPECIFIC SECTORS OF THE CHINESE AND USA ECONOMIE

Abstract The article assesses the economic risks of trade war on the basis of the developed methodology on the example of specific sectors of the PRC and US economies. This methodology provides an opportunity to compare the indicators of a stochastic extremely unfavorable situation (given by the level of significance at a given probabilistic distribution of the value of profits/losses from exports) with a conditionally deterministic amount of damage from specific instruments of trade war at the sectoral level.
