Abstract This Master of International Relationship & Diplomacy dissertation by Abdishakur Iman Jim'ale, under the supervision of Mr. Charles, explores the critical role of internal controls in enhancing organizational performance within selected non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Mogadishu, Somalia. This study, conducted from 2023 to 2024, aims to provide empirical evidence on the effectiveness of internal controls and their impact on the management and operational success of NGOs operating in challenging environments.
