The Impact of Personalized Music Therapy on Neural Plasticity in Early-Stage Dementia Patients
Personalized music therapy has gained attention as a non-invasive intervention to enhance neural plasticity, particularly in patients with early-stage dementia. This study explores the effect of customized music programs on brain adaptability, focusing on memory retention, emotional responses, and cognitive functioning. Using EEG and fMRI, we monitored neural activity before and after therapy. Results indicate that personalized music significantly enhances neural connectivity in memory-related regions, while reducing anxiety and improving mood. This research underscores the importance of individualized therapeutic approaches in managing dementia.
