Tools for Data Management and Curation - HDF5 and NeXus format : Quick start cookbook

In this lecture we start by explaining the basic features of the HDF5 format in order to set the basis to introduce the NeXus format and its use in the material science domain. NeXus's key elements and rules are discussed by taking examples from the NXem application definition.
