Sequence of research works to create a scientific basis for grouping plant cultivation areas according to the salinity level, physical, chemical, and biological properties of soil-grounds in the dried-up bottom area of the Aral Sea.
The Aral Sea was one of the largest watersheds in the region during the former Union, and as a result of major environmental disasters, much of it dried up. This ecological disaster has led to a decrease in salinity, degradation, and biological activity of soil grunts. The main purpose of this study is to study the salinity status, and physical, chemical, and biological properties of soil-grunts in the dry bottom area of the Aral Sea and determine the most suitable areas for planting plants.
