ANALYSIS OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS ANALIZA SISTEMELOR DE STOCARE A ENERGIEI ELECTRICE

Abstract One of the restrictions encountered in the production of electricity is due to the fact that electricity must be consumed when it is generated and can only be preserved through storage. The article presents the various storage solutions, the advantages and disadvantages of these solutions, the trends, insisting on a topical issue: the integration of intermittent energy sources: sun-wind-hydro and energy storage in energy storage systems considered by the author to be useful and possible to develop in Romania.
