Music is an integral part of human life that has evolved since ancient times. Musical instruments as the main medium in producing music, have a variety of unique and complex sound characteristics. Along with the development of technology and science, understanding the sound characteristics of musical instruments is becoming increasingly important. One method to understand these characteristics is through sound frequency analysis. The purpose of this study is to find typical characteristic parameters in mbololo (gong). The method used in this study is a temporal analysis method that focuses on analyzing signal characteristics in the time domain. The results of this study will produce a typical characteristic parameter, namely the ADSR model. The average value in the 1st to 10th recordings with a distance of 100 cm, 110 cm, 120 cm, 130 cm, respectively, is the Attack Time, which is 0.399 seconds, 0.504 seconds, 0.485 seconds, 0.58 seconds. Decay Time is 0.042 seconds, 0.04 seconds, 0.049 seconds, 0.04 seconds. Sustain Time is 10,272 seconds, 9,589 seconds, 10.55 seconds, 10,859 seconds. Release Time is 0.00 seconds. The magnitude of the ADSR duration value is relatively the same. The difference in duration can be caused by the impact strength, sound vibration, and sound silence.
