Entropy-Induced Collapse (EIC) Model – Part 4: Entropy Gradients and Information-Field Mediated Interactions
This paper presents Part 4 of the Entropy-Induced Collapse (EIC) model series, a rigorous theoretical framework describing quantum wavefunction collapse as a thermodynamically driven phenomenon arising from irreversible increases in environmental entropy. By employing fractional Brownian motion (fBm) to accurately model realistic, non-Markovian environmental noise, and incorporating quantum error correction (QEC), this model precisely defines conditions for collapse in terms of measurable entropy thresholds. We further introduce a novel thermodynamic scalar information field activated by local entropy gradients, exploring its interactions within standard quantum field theories and offering concrete experimental proposals utilizing MEMS gravimeters, superconducting qubit processors, and cryogenic torsion balances. The EIC framework not only provides a coherent explanation of quantum state reduction and the emergence of time’s arrow, but also opens avenues for empirical testing in laboratory conditions. All theoretical developments and experimental suggestions contained herein are explicitly intended for peaceful, non-military applications and are committed to promoting the advancement of fundamental physics and quantum technologies for the benefit of humanity.
