DİKKAT EKSİKLİĞİ, HİPERAKTİVİTE BOZUKLUĞU VE NEUROFEEDBACK TEDAVİ YÖNTEMİ ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME
We are in a learning process every moment of our lives, starting from the womb. Sometimes we do this by imitation, observation or direct transfer of information. One of the most important elements in these learning situations is attention. If we do not pay enough attention to something, learning may not take place. While attention is taking place, many stimuli come to us from the environment. If we filter these stimuli correctly and realize them in line with our current needs and goals, learning or understanding occurs as a result of attention. One of the most common childhood disorders is attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder. There are many types of treatment methods and certain improvements are seen. If left untreated and unrecognized, it can cause many problems from childhood to adulthood. Attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder causes social problems, social problems, family and personal relationships. Neurofeedback is teaching a person to change their brain frequencies in the desired direction. This can be done in many ways. This is done through the feedback given by the neurofeedback practitioner. It is known to be effective in many psychological disorders and daily problems. With electrodes placed on the person's head and ears, the practitioner can view the person's brain waves on their screen. At the same time, various tasks and games are displayed on the patient's screen. While the person tries to fulfill these tasks with eye movements, the practitioner detects problematic waves on his/her screen. By detecting the problematic waves, the person is tried to be taught how to change them. In this way, the person learns to change their own brain waves through feedback. In this review study, the effectiveness of neurofeedback treatment method on ADHD was examined in line with the findings obtained as a result of literature research.
