POEZIA MODERNISTĂ A LUI GHEORGHE GRIGURCU: INTERFERENȚE ȘI INFLUENȚE
Summary. Based on the traits identified, Gheorghe Grigurcu’s poetry is modernist. In this paper, aside from establishing his modernist writing, we work towards identifying influences from symbolism, surrealism, expressionism, photographic realism and Japanese haiku in the poet’s lyrical creation. The introspective character, doubled by psychological and cognitive valences, places the lyricalwriting within the modernist formula. Gheorghe Grigurcu, through an intellectualized and incipitalized language, stimulates the initiated reader to discover the „vital node of his thought”. The profoundsensibility, the tension of the inner feelings marked by the social state of the time, the opaqueness oflanguage, the ironic look at the past, the rebellion against reality, the exploration of unconscious zonesand the cutting out of the landscapes of nature that reflect the state of the poet’s soul are just some ofthe aspects that, placed under the sign of aesthetics, mark Gheorghe Grigurcu’s personal vision of theworld. The poetic universe of Grigurcu contours a reflexive, subjective lyricism, juxtaposed by ontological nuances highlighting, thus, the I-world relationship in an original formula.Key words: Gheorghe Grigurcu, modernism, symbolism, surrealism, expressionism, Japanesehaiku.
