Highlighting CLEW systems trade-offs in Ethiopia
Ethiopia is currently facing significant challenges being the second most populated country in Africa with the population forecasted to exceed 200 million by 2050. Most of the population lacks access to modern energy, water, and sanitation services and it is still relying on biomass for residential energy demand and on rain-fed agriculture as the major source of food and income. This presentation aims at showing if water, energy and food security will be achieved with the current trends, if LT-LEDS targets are achieved and if climate change projections affect the system.
