The results revealed that the respondents have moderate level of ideological polarization (Mdn = 2.81) which implies that their ideological beliefs are not solely limited between two rivaling ideologies. Likewise, the respondents have moderate level of affective polarization (M = 2.60, SD = 0.60) which only implies that they have ordinary level of hostility and affability towards their in-group and out-group. Lastly, Kendall’s tau-B correlation revealed that the two variables have a significant weak positive correlation.
