Kant e o Seu Impacto na Justiça do Trabalho: Estudo Analítico em Homenagem aos 300 anos de seu Nascimento

Three hundred years ago, one of the most relevant legal philosophers for the development of law, and in particular for labor law, was born. This article aims to assess the extent to which Kant's contribution to labor law is concentrated. Themethodology of the study is exploratory and analytical, seeking to measure the references to Kant in the rulings of the Regional Labor Court of the 2nd Region, taken as a whole as a representative sample of Kant's impact on Brazilian labor jurisprudence. After the study, limited by the accessed materials, it was possible to identify references to Kant in roughly 20% of the appeal judge chambers on issues related to non-pecuniary damage, demonstrating evidence of the practical relevance of the legal philosopher in national labor jurisprudence. Keywords: Kant; Labor Law; Jurisprudence; Empirical Legal Studies.
