Redefining Spirituality, in contemporary time-with special Reference to Acharya Chandana Shriji

Abstract: Cosmic energy within our body is having immense power, energy, and immense happiness. There lies the divine power. It was like the fragrance of a flower. This spring of vigour & vitality spurts out by meditation, by distinctly visualizing this consciousness, this soul apart from body then appears the inner divine strength of this Soul. Butter in the milk, fire in the wood, oil in the seeds and divine rigour-soul in this body is a storehouse of power. Such a connection of Self is Spirituality which denotes that attitude of mind which involves a direct, immediate, intuitive apprehension of God. It signifies the highest attitude of which man is capable, namely a beatific contemplation of God and its dissimilation in the society and the world. Such a divinity of Spirituality, embraced and expressed by an awakened Soul Acharya Chandanaji who redefined spirituality, as a compassion towards masses and wanted to uplift their lives. First the 'Self merges with Supreme power while Self awakening and now the same 'Self of man is so expanded as to embrace the whole universe, the love of 'Self’ assumes the proportions of the love of the universe and see the 'self' in everything and nothing that exists in the universe is outside man's own ‘Self’ Such a spiritually awakened Soul find her good in the good of all and when the suffering of the meanest creatures unbearable to such awakened soul, which now knows, feels her happiness lies in the happiness of every soul around. Such a Jagrut atma now works towards bringing reforms in society to uplift every soul around by engaged socially shifting from micro level as sramani restricted to five great vows, as samiti and gupties, as a role of Jain esatic to for self-upliftment to macro level for Self-upliftment to macro level in form of Seva-Siksha - Sadhana for truly preaching the forgotten principle of Mahavira of 'Live and Let live’, ‘Parasparagraho Jivanam' and ‘Vasudev kutumbakam 'so as to uplift every Soul to guide them to understand that divinity is connected to everyone in an un interrupted and unmediated manner. In other words, wanted to show to people that no system or external means are required for either knowing or obtaining the grace of god i.e every soul has potential to become God. Such connection can be obtained when sol is raised, uplifted through seva and siksha and then self-motivated towards sadhana
