Engineering Colloidally Stable Multilayered PVA Nanocarriers via PLGA and Fe₂O₃-PLL Surface Functionalization

This dataset supports the development of multilayered poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) nanocarriers functionalized with poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) and iron oxide (Fe₂O₃) nanoparticles complexed with poly-L-lysine (PLL). It includes experimental data on nanoparticle preparation, zeta potential measurements, and colloidal stability assessments before and after each surface modification step. Dynamic light scattering and filtration analysis are provided to evaluate the impact of coating layers on particle uniformity and yield. The dataset illustrates the feasibility and challenges of engineering stable, multifunctional nanocarriers for biomedical use. This research was conducted under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (Grant No. 101067240).

Abstract
