Oncideres vicina; Martins & Galileo, 1990: 91. Oncideres crocala Dillon & Dillon, 1946: 317. Remarks. Oncideres heterocera var. Vicina was described based on a single specimen from Brazil. Later, Dillon & Dillon (1946) described O. crocala based on a single specimen from Brazil (Sergipe). Dillon & Dillon (1946), following Aurivillius (1923), considered O. heterocera var. vicina as a synonym of O. ulcerosa (Germar, 1823). Martins & Galileo (1990) revalidated and considered it as a distinct species, and synonymized O. crocala with O. vicina. Currently, it is known from Brazil (Maranhão, Alagoas, Sergipe, Paraíba, and Bahia) (Monné 2024b; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2023). Material examined.
