A Psycholinguistic Explanation to the Child’s Mother Tongue Acquisition

Abstract: As stated in the title, this research investigates a crucial theme in psycholinguistics. The acquisition of the mother tongue among children is an essential pioneer on which many studies have been built. It explains the acquired from various scientific theoretical perspectives; these theories are behavioral, cognitive, and functional. This paper aims to familiarize itself with the research aspects to craft an objective stance according to the steps and stages of a juvenile’s acquisition of his/her mother tongue in a specific speech community.
