Analyzing the Effects of Overdose and Underdose of Vitamin D and Vitamin K in Varying Categories of Patients in Specific Parts of the World

The main role of vitamins is to keep the body in proper working condition. Each vitamin has a different purpose in maintaining proper body health. Helping the body resist infections, keeping the nervous system healthy, helping the body gain energy from food, or helping the blood clotting process in the body are some of the actions. Thus, studying the effects of an overdose of these vitamins (here, fat-soluble vitamins- Vitamin D and Vitamin K) across various age groups and ethnicities becomes crucial. Our body requires these vitamins and minerals in certain proportions. This balance is met by dietary methods or by supplements. It is important to understand that the effects of overdose and underdose of these vitamins may cause an imbalance in the state of homeostasis. The effects of overdose and underdose of Vitamins D and K are discussed in this article.
