Primary Thyroid Lymphoma: Two Clinical Cases with Different Presentation
Primary thyroid lymphoma (PTL) is a rare malignancy representing less than 5% of all thyroid cancers. It predominantly affects females and is strongly associated with Hashimoto thyroiditis, with an almost 60-fold increased risk in these patients. In this report, the authors present two clinical cases of Primary Thyroid Lymphoma, each with distinct clinical presentations. They highlight the diagnostic challenges and the importance of early recognition and appropriate management.
