Sharing the Load: Obtaining and Providing Access to Open Scholarship via the Carolina Digital Repository
In 2016, the UNC-Chapel Hill Faculty Council passed the Open Access Policy, which facilitates free, public access to research authored at the University. The Carolina Digital Repository (CDR) is an institutional repository whose mission supports the Open Access Policy. In this presentation, we will discuss how the CDR obtains and makes the University’s scholarship available to the public, including our new integration with Dimensions, a large-scale knowledge system. We will also discuss CDR’s services which facilitate the availability of UNC-CH authored content.
