Relational Marketing: Case Studies And Best Practices In Multisensory Design, Gamification And Empathetic Communication To Cultivate Brand Experiences
(abstract taken from introduction) The intricate dance between consumers and brands resembles a complex relationship, with steep competition for attention and consumer choice. In this age of information overload, consumers seek resonance and meaning, shaping their preferences and actions over time (Magids, Zorfas & Leemon, 2019). Consumers rely on brands for practical benefits and deeper symbolic and emotional connections, allowing marketers to move beyond transactional relationships instead and foster genuine emotional bonds with consumers. By approaching interactions through the lens of relationship building, brands can create deep, lasting connections (Rodríguez-Torrico, San José Cabezudo & San-Martín, 2024).
