Sustainable Wireless Charging Solutions: Design and Testing of a Portable Solar-Powered Charging Device
This paper details the creation of a portable wireless charging device powered by a solar panel and equipped with an advanced charging algorithm. The device includes a 6500mAh Li-ion battery (using 18650 cells) and is designed to charge electronic gadgets efficiently and sustainably such as smartphones and laptops. It consists of a solar panel, charging circuit, Li-ion batteries, a microcontroller, and wireless charging circuits. Tests have shown that it delivers a stable and reliable output of 5V/2A while maintaining high power transfer efficiency. The advanced charging algorithm fine-tunes the charging current and voltage according to the specific requirements of the device being charged, optimizing power transfer efficiency and reducing charging time. This device offers a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional charging methods, especially useful in regions with limited access to power sources.
