Incorporation\nof (Cyclometalated-Ir)-Pt in Ultrastable\nCovalent Organic Frameworks for Enhanced Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production\nand Nitro Reduction
Ir(ĈN)2(X̂N) derivatives showed\nremarkable\nphotochemical properties, making them highly adaptable in the field\nof photocatalysis. By integration of [Ir(ppy)2]+ units into the quinoline-linked covalent organic frameworks <b>Q-COF</b> containing (N̂N) coordination sites, a wider spectral\nresponse range is achieved, leading to the development of unique entities\nwith fascinating photophysical characteristics. The addition of Pt0 further enhances the performance of <b>[Ir(ppy)</b><b>2</b><b>(N̂N)+Pt]@Q-COF</b> for photocatalytic\nhydrogen evolution reaction, with the in situ utilization of photogenerated\nH2 enabling efficient nitro reduction.
