Remote Alkynylation\nof Aliphatic Amines

Advancements in transition metal catalyzed C–H\nactivation/functionalization\ncascades have allowed the synthetic chemist’s toolbox to be\nsignificantly expanded. Despite this, protocols for the remote alkynylation\nof linear aliphatic amines still remain limited. Herein, a palladium-catalyzed\ndirecting-group approach to alkynylation of aliphatic amines is disclosed.\nThe synthetic utility was demonstrated with a gram-scale reaction\nand a functional group compatibility test.

Abstract

Despite this, protocols for the remote alkynylation\nof linear aliphatic amines still remain limited. Herein, a palladium-catalyzed\ndirecting-group approach to alkynylation of aliphatic amines is disclosed.\nThe synthetic utility was demonstrated with a gram-scale reaction\nand a functional group compatibility test.
