Solvent-Controlled\nRh(III)-Catalyzed Mono- and Dual\nFunctionalization of Quinolyl Aldoximes with Diazo Compounds

A solvent-controlled Rh(III)-catalyzed\nmono- and dual-C–H\nbond activation/carbene migratory insertion with diazo compounds as\na single coupling partner was demonstrated. The reaction proceeded\nunder mild conditions, yielding products in good to excellent yields.\nThese results are significant for the development of the domino multiple\nfunctionalization of C(sp<sup>2</sup>)–H bonds via a carbenoid\ninsertion approach.
