Dynamics of\nVortex Matter in 2D Gapless Superconducting\nMaterials with Impurities
The recent interest in using ultrafast single-photon\ndetectors\nin research and commercial applications has garnered significant attention\nfrom the scientific community. The dynamic event in the detection\nprocess consists of a photon causing local destruction of the order\nparameter, and then the applied current dissipates heat, bringing\nthe material even more out of the superconducting state and then spiking\na voltage peak in a measurement device. We investigated the role of\nsuperconducting and thermal parameters of the Generalized Time-Dependent\nGinzburg–Landau (GTDGL) theory within the event of the first\nvortex penetration and the thermal dissipation in superconductors\nnear the critical temperature. Moreover, in the vicinity of the Bogomolny\npoint of the static Ginzburg–Landau theory, where κ ≈\n1/√2 and <i>T</i> → <i>T</i>c, it has been found severely different vortex profiles. We\npoint out that within the GTDGL theory, the presence of impurities\n(usual or paramagnetic) influences flux penetration and enhances the\ndissipation of heat, causing anomalous vortex configurations.
