Inverse Design\nof Multiplexable Meta-Devices for Imaging\nand Processing
It\nis intriguing to manipulate light in different ways depending\non its properties. This allows a passive device to function with versatility\nwithout the need for active tuning. In other words, light itself can\nbe used as an optical control knob. Multiplexable optical devices\nhold immense promise as ultrathin integrated processors, capable of\nmanipulating multiple parameters of light. In this study, inverse\ndesign methods are employed to optimize wavelength-multiplexed and\npolarization-multiplexed meta-devices for imaging and processing.\nThese meta-devices demonstrate bright-field imaging and edge detection\nat different wavelengths or polarization states, effectively conducting\nFourier filtering on input images by adjusting the momentum transfer\nfunction. The innovative approach paves the way for broader utilization\nof optical meta-devices in multidimensional light field multiplexing.
