Photoinduced,\nRedox-Neutral Decyanative and Defluorinative\nPhosphination of (Hetero)Arenes
Triarylphosphines play a crucial role in organic synthesis\nas versatile\ncomponents serving as ligands, catalysts, and reactants. This study\nintroduces a metal-free, visible-light-induced method for the cross-coupling\nof cyanopyridines or polyfluoroarenes with diarylphosphines. This\napproach facilitates the formation of C(sp2)–P bonds\nthrough redox-neutral decyanative or defluorinative process, enabling\nthe convenient synthesis of diverse triarylphosphines.
