Reductive Homologation\nof Nitroalkanes via Denitrative\nAminoalkylation

We\npresent the reductive homologation of nitroalkanes through the\nutilization of the denitrative aminoalkylation reaction. This transformation\nis accomplished by the radical–radical coupling of alkyl radicals\nderived from nitroalkanes and persistent aminoalkyl radicals. By capitalizing\non the diverse α-functionalization of nitroalkanes, α,β-multifunctionalized\namines can be readily accessed.
