Ru(II)-Catalyzed C–H\nAmination of 1,2,3-Benzotriazinones\nwith Azide Compounds

A Ru(II)-catalyzed\ndirected C–H amination of 1,2,3-benzotriazinones\nwith azide compounds has been reported. The reaction has a wide substrate\nscope of organic azides with good results and represents a useful\npathway to the construction of versatile heterocyclic amino products.\nIn addition, the method can be used for the phthalazinones, highlighting\nthe synthetic practicability of the strategy.
