Radiation Synthesisof Oxygen-Enriched GA-TiO<i>x</i> Compositesfor Efficient PhotocatalyticPollutant Degradation and Rapid Solar-Thermal Water Evaporation
This study introduces a novel method for synthesizing a graphene aerogel combined with titanium dioxide using radiation chemistry techniques, resulting in a titanium dioxide-graphene aerogel enriched with oxygen vacancies. The synthesized material shows efficient adsorption and degradation of the pollutant Rhodamine B, with a catalytic degradation rate constant of 0.018 min–1 when the theoretical mass ratio of graphene oxide to titanium dioxide is 4:2. Additionally, the material exhibits outstanding solar-powered water evaporation performance, achieving a photothermal evaporation rate of 2.26 kg·m–2·h–1.
