Synthesis of α,α-Difluoromethylene\nAmines\nfrom Thioamides Using Silver Fluoride

We developed a mild, rapid process employing AgF and\nthioamides\nto produce α,α-difluoromethylene amines efficiently. This\nmethod exhibited remarkable tolerance toward various functional groups\npresent in <i>N</i>-sulfonylthioamides, thereby broadening\nthe scope of difluoromethylene sulfonamides through a straightforward\napproach. Additionally, we applied this approach to synthesize various\nperfluoroalkyl amines, establishing practical synthetic routes for\nexploring these compounds in pharmaceutical chemistry and materials\nscience.
