Abstract

A robust cycle life and high energy and power density\nare essential\nfor storing energy. In addition, flexible and self-supporting electrodes\nplay a crucial role in supercapacitor applications. Herein, we present\nthe use of a thienothiophene and single-walled carbon-nanotube-based\nhybrid material, <b>TT-HB-SWCNT</b>, as a highly efficient symmetrical\nsupercapacitor having flexible and self-standing properties. It serves\nas a flexible free-standing electrode in a two-electrode system for\nboth supercapacitor and energy storage purposes. The developed hybrid\nelectrode demonstrates an appropriate energy density for its application\nin supercapacitors, exhibiting a C-rate capability that aligns with\nthe operational range of symmetrical supercapacitors.
