Comprehensive Study on Supply Chain Contract Selection and Identification of Its Factors Using Meta-Synthesis Method
This study conducts a comprehensive examination of the factors influencing the selection of supply chain contracts in the context of uncertain market conditions. As organizations encounter increasingly complex supply chains impacted by unpredictable market fluctuations and diverse stakeholder demands, the need for informed and reliable decision-making becomes critically important. Employing a meta-synthesis method, this research synthesizes existing literature from the Iranian calendar years 1395 to 1402 (2016–2024 in the Gregorian calendar), identifying key criteria and sub-criteria necessary for effective supply chain contract selection. The study delves into the applicability of these factors across various sectors, with a particular focus on industries such as oil and gas, where contract management is essential for operational efficiency and risk mitigation. The findings underscore the multifaceted nature of contract selection and provide a structured framework to aid organizations in navigating the complexities of supply chain management, ultimately enhancing their competitive advantage in a dynamic business environment.
