Developing a Machine Learning Model to Predict the currence of Cardiovascular Diseases Based on Health Data
Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) remain a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, making early prediction and intervention essential for improving patient outcomes. This research focuses on developing a machine learning model to predict the occurrence of cardiovascular diseases based on readily available health data. By utilizing a dataset that includes features such as age, gender, height, weight, cholesterol levels, and lifestyle factors, we aim to identify patterns and correlations that contribute to the risk of CVDs.The model employs a Random Forest classifier, known for its robustness and accuracy in handling complex datasets. Through a comprehensive analysis involving data preprocessing, feature selection, and hyperparameter optimization using GridSearchCV, we enhance the model's predictive performance. Our evaluation metrics, including accuracy, confusion matrix, and classification reports, demonstrate the model's effectiveness in distinguishing between high-risk and low-risk individuals.Additionally, we provide insightful visualizations, including heatmaps and distribution plots, to illustrate the relationships among variables and their impact on cardiovascular health. This research not only emphasizes the potential of machine learning in healthcare but also offers actionable recommendations for individuals to mitigate their risk factors based on the model's predictions.Overall, this study contributes to the growing body of knowledge in predictive analytics for cardiovascular diseases and underscores the importance of utilizing data-driven approaches to enhance preventive healthcare strategies.
